Development and Assistance for Creatives
Empower Authentic Jewish Voices — Support Ohr Chodosh L’Zion
A New Light for Zion is more than a mission; it is a call to reconnect with our divine purpose—rooted in Torah, Land, and People.
It is about healing our collective spirit and empowering our narrative to echo across the world, captivating hearts and inspiring a renewed Jewish song of faith and creativity.
Our Home: The Historic Blue Moon Hotel
Located in the heart of the Lower East Side, the Historic Blue Moon Hotel—a restored 19th-century Jewish tenement—is the living embodiment of Ohr Chodosh’s mission.
A media triumph and named one of the “150 Most Unique Hotels in the Western Hemisphere” by National Geographic Traveler, the Blue Moon is a cultural landmark housing kosher dining, art exhibitions, and the monumental Diaspora Mural, which connects generations through art and memory.
Through events, concerts, and exhibitions, the Blue Moon serves as a creative sanctuary for renewal, engaging thousands of young Jews seeking to reconnect with identity and purpose.
Our Vision
We seek to raise the funding to expand our New York base and strengthen the course of Jewish destiny.
Classes and lectures will focus on the true influencers who shaped Jewish thought, philosophy, and action—with deep emphasis on G-d, Zionism, and the unity of Israel.
In struggling to redirect the tsunami of hatred, we risk losing sight of how to forge new creative initiatives.
The world needs Jewish scientists, engineers, and mathematicians—but it has been waiting for our creatives to lead the way.
Our Mission
Through the arts, education, and cultural engagement, Ohr Chodosh L’Zion seeks to:
Unite the Jewish people, restoring identity and spiritual confidence.
Birth and nurture emerging talent across disciplines.
Strengthen the covenantal bond between Israel and the Diaspora.
Build bridges with Noahides and Christians who honor the covenant of Abraham.
Through this renewal, we aim to make the Jewish people the rising stars of a new era of enlightenment—a light for all mankind.
We strive to create a generation whose strength, creativity, and resilience captivate the global stage and reflect the light of Zion.
The new meaning of soul is creativity and mysticism—the foundation of a new spiritual and psychological type from which a renewed civilization will arise.
The Song of the Field
“ Know that every blade of grass has its own song,
and from the song of the grasses the shepherd’s melody is made.”— Rebbe Nachman of Breslov
In the quiet of the fields, every blade of grass sings—each soul, each creation, offering its unique melody to the Creator.
From these countless songs, the righteous weave harmony; from this harmony, the world is renewed.
So too is the task of the artist and the believer: to listen deeply, to gather the scattered notes of exile, and to shape them into a song of unity and praise.
In every brushstroke, prayer, and melody, we recover the lost music of the soul—and join creation itself in its eternal hymn: Let there be light.
Rankian Art as a Livestream Interpretation
"To create is to live twice: once in the act, and again in the witness.
The artist becomes a vessel through which G-d whispers meaning into matter.
The Soul and Its Meaning"
“The meaning of the soul is creativity and mysticism.”
— Otto Rank, artist-psychologist and vanquished disciple of Freud
Rank taught that man’s essence is not instinct, but imagination. For Jews today—facing spiritual fatigue, cultural fragmentation, and relentless defamation—his insight is vital: our survival depends on creative renewal, the power to transform suffering into vision and exile into expression.
By reclaiming imagination as holy work, we reclaim the soul of our people.
Yet Rank’s message speaks not only to artists, but to leaders.
To stand as both spiritual and creative beings is the perfect synthesis of Jewish thought and reclamation—a philosophy that can counter hatred and propel us to the world’s center stage.
Not in defense or apology, but in a way that casts aside all aspersions and conspiracies, awakening awe before a people who bring forth the light of creation to mankind.
In every brushstroke, melody, or prayer, the soul fulfills its purpose—to shape reality through inspired consciousness.
The Act of Creation

“The act of creation is an act of rebellion against an indifferent and chaotic world.”
Creation itself is holy defiance—a refusal to accept chaos as final.
To create is to proclaim meaning where none appears, to bring light into confusion, and to echo the Divine impulse: Let there be.
